The Lodge provides a place for people to enjoy and respect nature. The 50-acre meadow is the Ranch's centerpiece, protected in perpetuity as open space. The meadow provides grazing for the Ranch horses, but is also an important wildlife corridor for elk and deer, wild turkey, coyotes, foxes, raccoons, brown bears, and endangered Mexican gray wolves, with hawks and bald eagles soaring overhead. |
